For over ten years now, this trade fair organized in Krakow has been considered to be one of the most important meeting places for specialists from the mechanical processing sector in Poland.

This year’s season of the EUROTOOL® Trade Fair, which took place between 19-21 October 2011, presented the latest technological solutions, applied in various industries.

It has confirmed what was already known, namely that this three-day stay in the Małopolska is a guarantee of successful investments in the future. Over 400 companies from all over the world, i.e. Austria, Holland, South Korea, Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia took advantage of their opportunity to sign some highly profitable contracts, after a year of intensive work.

“Our stand was very busy all the time. In fact the first day at EUROTOOL® was more productive than the entire three-day stay at the trade fair organized in Sosnowiec. What I mean is the large number of documented contracts that we have established, and so the future seems very bright. We have been exhibiting at EUROTOOL® for 16 years and I will always want to return here” Zbigniew Szczerba from Fabryka Maszyn “Tarnów” Sp. z o.o.

International Business Partners

6977 professionals, representing the management of Polish and foreign industrial companies, visited the fair during its three days. On the second day the fair was also visited by an economic mission, organized by the French Embassy.

“This was our first experience of discovering the Polish market and we are very enthusiastic about it. We’ve managed to hold a few promising meetings, and we feel that there is still a lot to do. Things are done very professionally here; we are particularly impressed by the approach of the Polish business partners. We hope to establish permanent and successful cooperation” told us Irina Martin, Export Manager, from a Paris-based company Hydro – MS.

The visitors had the opportunity to get to know the latest technological solutions in metal processing, which are now used in almost all sectors of the mechanical industry, such as the automobile, aviation, mining, machine, food processing and even fitness sectors.

“We were looking for the place where we could find out about new technologies in metal processing because we make sports equipment for private fitness clubs. We are here at the Eurotool® Fair for the first time and we are very impressed. The range is very extensive: there is cutting, welding and bending, which is everything we need” – said Łukasz Szemraj from Magnus Polska.

The Special Corporate Zone has proven to be very successful

One of the new events of this year’s exhibition was welcomed by those participating in the Trade Fair. It was attended by dozens of companies, mostly small and medium-sized manufacturing companies. This is where companies providing services in the machining, plastic processing, measurement, processing, joining and coating of metal sheet met the companies that are interested in establishing regular cooperation, or perhaps commission individual orders.

“The cooperation zone has worked well; it has a good format which responds to the current requirements. I can say that it is the benefits of the zone which attracted us to the fair. The business effect/costs ratio is very satisfactory” said Marek Danis, General Director of Oerlikon Blazers.
