Knowledge and business without borders

The attendees of this year's edition of the INNOFORM® Trade Fair were not only visitors from Poland, but also from the farthest corners of the world – Congo, Bangladesh, and Malaysia, to name a few. In total, nearly 3,000 people took part in the event. In the end, the list of exhibitors included 263 companies, among others from Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, South Korea, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Italy.

The trade fair can take pride in more than just exhibitors from all over the world, but also a rich agenda with a perfectly developed thematic scope profiled for the industry. Two expert conferences were waiting for the visitors: “CONFERENCE ON TOOLING AND PLASTICS PROCESSING” and this year's new topic: “CONFERENCE ON ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING TECHNIQUES IN TOOLING AND PLASTICS PROCESSING INDUSTRIES”
The Brokerage Event was also very popular – an ideal place for business talks and establishing business relationships here and now. During this year's Brokerage Event, 94 meetings took place, including 19 international meetings.

Technology of the future

Innovative heat-treated steel, modular milling systems that achieve performance similar to carbide milling tools, multi-axis numerical lathe with driven tools or laser cleaning technology – these are just some of the more than 100 innovations presented at the trade fair this year.

-Here, visions of new solutions are created. The difference between this trade fair and other competing events is that all the others are typically commercial, for example, for distributors, while this one is attended by partners offering long-term cooperation. Here, you talk about business dealings primarily with decision-makers: the company heads. Furthermore, the leading brands come here to present themselves, those that pave the direction of the industry’s development – says Hubert Zalewski, Managing Director – Member of the Management Board at ROEHM Polska Sp. z o.o.

Fully compact trade fair

- We were at INNOFORM® last year and we could not miss it this year, either. For us, it's a very compact trade fair - says Thomas Braun, Head of Export Sales at KNARR Vertriebs GmbH. We make many contacts with new clients and today I can say with high probability that we will meet again next year – adds.

The INNOFORM® Trade Fair was also praised by Robert Dyrda, Director of Oberon Robert Dyrda
- You can see that this year's edition is bigger than the previous one. I say this due to the number of customers who visited our stand. We have 50% more contacts than last year. This is the only trade fair in this region for the industry and it's definitely worth showing your company here. The second edition was also highly valued by large companies that have a reputation on the market.

INNOFORM® Trade Fair competition

Andrychowska Fabryka Maszyn DEFUM S.A., Oberon 3D L. Pietrzak i Wspólnicy Sp.j., and The Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies – Exhibitors of the 2nd International Cooperative Trade Fair of Tools and Processing Industry INNOFORM® won the main awards in the first accompanying event: the competition for the best products, technologies, and innovations. The jury of the Competition also awarded distinctions, which went to The Institute of Engineering of Polymer Materials and Dyes, Seco Tools Poland, and PHU Faktor Piotr Pachczyński. YG-1 won the award for the best-looking trade fair stand.

-We treat all awards very seriously. Especially this one, because it’s our first time at INNOFORM® Trade Fair. We want to mark our presence in this region – the Polish tool valley. That's why we set up the machine tool we designed to meet the expectations of our potential customers in the tooling and processing industry - said Artur Bartkowiak, CEO at Andrychowska Fabryka Maszyn DEFUM S.A.

This was the first edition of the competition, but its success, marked by the tremendous interest of the companies, has paved the way for continuing this endeavour in the future.

Changes only for the better

-Our industry manufactures parts and components for the world's largest companies. I'm excited that it has a real meeting place. The second edition of the event has shown that INNOFORM® is already a brand in itself. The biggest players on the market present their offers here - says Katarzyna Meger, CEO of the Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster.

Grażyna Grabowska, President of the Management Board of Targi w Krakowie, also has peace of mind when it comes to the growth of the event.
-The number of companies participating in the second edition of the trade fair increased by more than one hundred compared to the last year’s debut. The exhibition area increased by 40%. I think that this is a very good result. It shows the immense potential of INNOFORM® Trade Fair. We are already thinking about the third edition of INNOFORM® Trade Fair - sums up Grażyna Grabowska, President of the Management Board of Targi w Krakowie.
